I love how Scripture, illustrations, and personal applications are all woven together in the book and study guide. This study changed the way I view myself in relationship to God. It also helped me to realize that the Truth of God's word and the Gospel applies to every single area of my life.

My best friend bought this book for me, and I finally finished it today. I am a preacher's daughter, so I have been going to church since my mother's womb, and nothing has had such an impact on my life as this book. Nancy points out the truths in a loving, straight-forward manner then backs them up with scripture so even when we want to argue we cannot. I thank God she wrote this, because now my life is back on track. I'm so in love with this book, that in January I will be starting a woman's study group at my church using it.

Our womens' ministry went through this book as the girls in the youth group simultaneously went through the companion "lies young women believe". It was a powerful tool exposing the lies we women believe as the world is constantly feeding us deception. I highly recommend this book for every woman to read! Thank you Nancy for your obedience!
