We purchased this book for our girls,ages 15 and 4, in hopes it would be a book they would both enjoy. We ended up getting the study guide that goes with it as well. The story is engaging and the illustrations bring add so much to the words. We had a princess tea for my younger daughters 4th birthday. Not all of her friends come from Christian homes so we decided to read this book at her party. We discussed the book and it was the hit of the party (pretty tough to top dress-up with 4 year olds!) My older daughter loves to pour over it again and agian and ask me questions. She has even asked my husband questions about the different types of prince's that come to call. This book has definately impacted both of my girls, despite their different ages. I highly recomend it and the Squire and the Scroll for boys.
